Introducing Canyon Boulevard

Our next new Spring pattern is Canyon Boulevard. This is a super versatile pattern that is fast and fun. The pattern includes two different styles, one with string-piecing and two contrasting fabrics and one with a background and assorted scraps. Both versions are pictured below.

Quilt Market in Minneapolis

As many pattern and fabric companies begin their journeys to International Quilt Market in Minneapolis, we are staying put. This will be the first time since we began Sassafras Lane Designs that we will not be attending and I am having mixed feelings about it.

How to Fussy Cut Fabric

I love fussy-cutting! This might be because of my long term love affair with novelty prints! I have quite a hoard of them stashed away and only cut into them when their full cuteness can shine!
