Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Last but certainly not least is the Empire Place quilt I made using solids and black & white prints. I used Michael Miller's extensive line of Cotton Couture solids and assorted Black & White prints to make this quilt and I love how it turned out! I may have even fussy-cut some little elephants for the center of the Accent blocks.

Quilt Market in Minneapolis

Quilt Market in Minneapolis

As many pattern and fabric companies begin their journeys to International Quilt Market in Minneapolis, we are staying put. This will be the first time since we began Sassafras Lane Designs that we will not be attending and I am having mixed feelings about it.
Shelby Satchel in Houndstooth & Friends

Shelby Satchel in Houndstooth & Friends

We had leftover fabric from the Euclid Avenue Juli made in Houndstooth & Friends fabric so we decided to make a super cute Shelby Satchel! It is a little bit scrappier than the others, but we made do with the Michael Miller fabric we had! The bag finishes 11.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep and fits an iPad perfectly.
Lombard Street in Crayon Box

Lombard Street in Crayon Box

Here is another fun Quilt Market project! We made this Lombard Street quilt to be featured in the Michael Miller Fabrics booth. This quilt features the Crayon Box Basics line and we love how it turned out! The quilt finished 47” x 54” - the perfect size for a throw or large wall hanging.
Euclid Avenue in Houndstooth & Friends

Euclid Avenue in Houndstooth & Friends

One of the quilts we had hanging in the Michael Miller Fabrics booth was this fun Euclid Avenue. Our good friend and pattern tester, Juli Kieny made and quilted this version and it turned out great! This quilt features Houndstooth & Friends in the Lagoon color story and finished 56" x 72".
Churndash Court in Kiss Dots

Churndash Court in Kiss Dots

I officially declare this Michael Miller week here on the Sass blog. We have four projects made up in Michael Miller fabrics to share with you and we are kicking it off with this Churndash Court. We made this version of our Churndash Court pattern with assorted Kiss Dots. I love how this one turned out! It glows! The quilt finishes 36" x 36"; the perfect size for a wall-hanging or baby quilt.
