Paradox Point QAL - Block 4

Paradox Point QAL - Block 4

Happy (almost) Valentine's Day everyone! We are kicking off this week with a few more Paradox Point blocks. These blocks are fun, bright and perfect for a little Monday quilty inspiration boost. Let's get started!
Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Last but certainly not least is the Empire Place quilt I made using solids and black & white prints. I used Michael Miller's extensive line of Cotton Couture solids and assorted Black & White prints to make this quilt and I love how it turned out! I may have even fussy-cut some little elephants for the center of the Accent blocks.
Empire Place in Kaffe

Empire Place in Kaffe

We are cruising right along! Next up on our parade of Empire Place quilts is this gorgeous version made up in assorted Kaffe Fassett prints and wovens. We love Kaffe and had the crazy idea to chop up his large scale prints and use them in these little paper-piecing sections.
Arcadia Avenue QAL Final Reveal - Take 1

Arcadia Avenue QAL Final Reveal - Take 1

Drumroll please.... We are revealing the finished Arcadia Avenue quilts this week (and next week) and we are kicking things off with fun rainbow version! I love this version! Each block has it's own color plus a light, medium and dark. It is a fun, colorful and scrappy take on the original.
Lori's Diamond Alley Quilt

Lori's Diamond Alley Quilt

Happy Easter! Today we are sharing this gorgeous Diamond Alley Quilt made by Lori Brewster. Lori made this quilt to give to her mom on her birthday! Isn't that so sweet! Lori used thirty-nine different Kaffe Fassett floral fabrics for the diamonds.
Regina's Diamond Alley Quilt

Regina's Diamond Alley Quilt

This gorgeous version of Diamond Alley was made by Regina Parys. She chose a medley of blue and turquoise fabrics for the diamonds and a solid white for the background. This combo makes me think of the Mediterranean.
Working on Big Projects in Small(er) Spaces

Working on Big Projects in Small(er) Spaces

2014 is officially here, and with it came a few deadlines! First up, a fun quilt I designed that will appear in Quiltmaker this Spring. It is a twin size quilt and the first large project I have worked on in this new home, so I thought I would share some tips for making large projects in small spaces.
