Regina's Diamond Alley Quilt
This gorgeous version of Diamond Alley was made by Regina Parys. She chose a medley of blue and turquoise fabrics for the diamonds and a solid white for the background. This combo makes me think of the Mediterranean. A nice thought for the middle of winter! Regina made the quilt larger by adding more vertical and horizontal rows of diamonds and a border in the turquoise fabric.
My Mom (aka Wolf Creek Quilting) quilted an allover wonky triangle pattern in the diamonds and sashing. She quilted the set-in triangles with an allover swirl pattern and the outer border in a continuous feather.
