Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Vol. 10 Blog Tour
Welcome blog hoppers! It is that time of year again. The air is crisp, the trees are bare and there is a new issue of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks! This is Vol. 10... which means 1000 original blocks! That is pretty crazy. We have been participating for a few volumes nows, check out our past blocks in Vol. 7, Vol. 8 and Vol. 9. Okay, now on to our new blocks!

100 Blocks Blog Tour Begins Today!
Twice a year Quiltmaker publishes a 100 Blocks issue containing 100 quilt blocks (duh!) from today's designers! Volume 9 is hitting shelves next week and to launch the issue, Quiltmaker is hosting a blog tour! It is fun to hop around to multiple designer's blogs and read about the inspiration behind their block.
Hex-a-doodle Magazine Feature
Today I am sharing a quilt that is being featured in Quiltmaker's May/June '14 issue! They coined this quilt Hex-a-doodle! It is made with triangles and half-hexagons, so there are no tricky y-seams!
Firelights Quilt & A Giveaway!
Quiltmaker does this really neat issue twice a year called 'Quilts from Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks'. I have a quilt featured in this upcoming Spring '14 issue. It is based on my Formation block that was featured in 100 Blocks, Volume 8. Below is the block, and you can read all about it here!
