Mini Mondays - Free Patchwork Cactus Mini Quilt Pattern

Mini Mondays - Free Patchwork Cactus Mini Quilt Pattern

I have been a lover of the desert and cacti for as I can remember. There is just something so solitary and romantic about the desert in my mind. Weird? Maybe! But, I got an idea to add to our Free Patchwork Mini Series with this little cactus!
Free Patchwork Pear Mini Quilt Pattern

Free Patchwork Pear Mini Quilt Pattern

I have one more mini fruit wallhanging up my sleeve! This little pear looks great with the Mini PineappleMini Orange and Mini Apples. If I ever have wall space in a future kitchen space, I imagine a little wall collage. For now, they are making my mini wall even cuter!
Introducing Focus Freeway!

Introducing Focus Freeway!

Say Cheese! Cameras are a part of our everyday life these days and we love them! I always am snapping photos - everything from my brunch plate to my puppies are victims of my photography. Focus Freeway is a playful camera pattern that is great for everyone - boys and girls, professional photographers and hobbyists, college dorms and kids rooms!
Introducing Hootsville Row!

Introducing Hootsville Row!

Hootsville Row originated as a 12" block I designed a few years ago for one of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazines. Hootie, as I called him, was one single owl perched on a branch with a golden full moon behind him. I decided to design a quilt around Hootie and create a whole family of owls. I love how Hootsville Row turned out!
Introducing One Way!

Introducing One Way!

One Way is one of our newer patterns that we released at Fall Quilt Market in Houston. (Yes, I am just getting around to blogging about it! Sorry!) This modern arrow design was inspired by a wall mural in Japan. We loved the simplicity of the design and immediately wanted to make it into a quilt!
Graffiti Walls in EaDo Houston

Graffiti Walls in EaDo Houston

One night during Quilt Market, we stumbled upon a beautiful graffiti wall being touched up while walking back from dinner. We decided we would swing by on our way out of town and snap some photos of our mini quilts in front of the wall.
Empire Place in Tonga Batiks

Empire Place in Tonga Batiks

We are 2/3rds of the way through our Empire Place quilts! I hope you are still excited to see the next two! Today we are sharing this jewel-toned beauty! Our good friend Gitte Hopkins made this quilt with Timeless Treasures' Tonga Java Blender batiks. I absolutely love this version, especially the little pop of lime that shows up in each block!
Empire Place in Kaffe

Empire Place in Kaffe

We are cruising right along! Next up on our parade of Empire Place quilts is this gorgeous version made up in assorted Kaffe Fassett prints and wovens. We love Kaffe and had the crazy idea to chop up his large scale prints and use them in these little paper-piecing sections.
