Introducing my Batik Fabric Line - Pura Vida! 🌿
Pura Vida, the Spanish phrase for “simple (or pure) life” encapsulates the Costa Rican culture. This line was inspired by not only the rich foliage, vibrant sunsets, mouthwatering food and phenomenal beaches of Central America, but also the true contentment felt when slowing down to enjoy life. Come explore Pura Vida with me and remind yourself to slow down enough to take in the beauty around you.
Paradox Point in Tonga Jamboree
Happy Saturday! We are kicking the weekend off with this batik beauty sewn by one of our good friends, Gitte Hopkins. This cool color scheme of this Paradox Point makes me swoon and these rich batiks - oh my! Gitte had a blast sewing this quilt and even made some special piped binding as a finishing touch!
Empire Place in Tonga Batiks
We are 2/3rds of the way through our Empire Place quilts! I hope you are still excited to see the next two! Today we are sharing this jewel-toned beauty! Our good friend Gitte Hopkins made this quilt with Timeless Treasures' Tonga Java Blender batiks. I absolutely love this version, especially the little pop of lime that shows up in each block!

We are well on our way with Empire Place week! Today we are sharing this striking version made with Hoffman California's new branch of modern batiks, Me+You. They are a fresh new take on batiks and they have hand dyed solids! We couldn't resist and Kristy made an Empire Place with them!
