Mini Mondays - Mini Churndash Court

Mini Mondays - Mini Churndash Court

This week in our Mini Monday Series is our Mini Churndash Court pattern.

Mini Churndash Court is the miniature version of our bold take on a traditional quilt block, our Churndash Court quilt pattern. Both patterns will be 20% off today and tomorrow (1/15/18 - 1/16/18 PST). Now let's chat about Mini Churndash Court

'Tis the Season for Baby Quilts

'Tis the Season for Baby Quilts

Spring has sprung! This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is finally warm enough to dust off those shorts and frolic outdoors before it gets hot! I just spent the weekend camping and hiking around Moab, so I am feeling refreshed and invigorated creatively.
Introducing Mini Churndash Court

Introducing Mini Churndash Court

Mini Churndash Court pattern has been a long time coming. I made a mini version of our original Churndash Court years ago during my two-week churndash obsession state. I had just been introduced to the idea of mini quilts and couldn't get the idea of a mini churndash out of my head! So, I created this rainbow version with a white churndash.
Mini and Sassy

We have finally jumped on the train heading for Mini Quilt-ville. I have always loved mini quilts and have had a gallery wall in every place I've lived, but I dragged my feet on patterning some Sass minis. Why? I am not completely sure, but I knew if I did them, I wanted to make them special. We launched 6 mini patterns at Fall Market.

We have said it before and we will ay it again, our all-time favorite thing about being a pattern designer, is seeing your versions of our patterns! Seeing the different color choices and your creative twists makes our job completely worth it! Here are a few projects that have popped on to my radar from Instagram and Facebook
New Mini Quilt Wall

New Mini Quilt Wall

I have a small (and growing) collection of mini quilts. There is a huge satisfaction is designing, sewing, quilting, binding and hanging something all in one day! I have my small collection of six quilts hung behind my sewing machine table.

I officially declare this Michael Miller week here on the Sass blog. We have four projects made up in Michael Miller fabrics to share with you and we are kicking it off with this Churndash Court. We made this version of our Churndash Court pattern with assorted Kiss Dots. I love how this one turned out! It glows! The quilt finishes 36" x 36"; the perfect size for a wall-hanging or baby quilt.
