Introducing Canyon Boulevard
Our next new Spring pattern is Canyon Boulevard. This is a super versatile pattern that is fast and fun. The pattern includes two different styles, one with string-piecing and two contrasting fabrics and one with a background and assorted scraps. Both versions are pictured below. Also included are 3 different quilt sizes - Venti 66" x 84", Grande 48" x 66" and Tall 36" x 48".
I love string piecing, but I thought making an entire quilt with those little strings would be too much! So, I opted for a line off-center vertically down the quilt. When I sat down to make this quilt, I couldn't help but want to make it with a ton of fun fabrics! So, we made two versions of this pattern.

This blog post brought to you by Bauer and Shelby =] Aren't they cute? They were also incredibly muddy and complete attention hogs. We got many perplexed looks like, "Why are you taking pictures of that thing hung over the fence and not me?"
The Canyon Boulevard pattern is available in PDF and paper form. (Psst! There will be a sale this weekend on all the new Spring patterns =] )
If you make this or any other Sassafras Lane project, we would love to see it! Send us photos or post them to our Flickr group. Next, we will be sharing our Bubba Bowling Bag pattern, so be sure to stop back by! Happy Hump Day!
