Introducing Baker Street!

Introducing Baker Street!

Ahhhh! Quilt Market is coming soon and I have been a major slacker on the blog front. I can't very well introduce our new upcoming patterns without formally introducing the last bunch, so... up next on the intro train is Baker Street!
Introducing Privet Drive!

Introducing Privet Drive!

Happy Monday! Today I am writing to you from a little coffee shop in Midtown Manhattan! I am on a trip with my best friend and we are having a blast, and getting some work done. This week, we are going to continue introducing our new(ish) patterns and next up on the docket is our Privet Drive!
Introducing Hootsville Row!

Introducing Hootsville Row!

Hootsville Row originated as a 12" block I designed a few years ago for one of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazines. Hootie, as I called him, was one single owl perched on a branch with a golden full moon behind him. I decided to design a quilt around Hootie and create a whole family of owls. I love how Hootsville Row turned out!
Sassy & Solid - Part 2

Sassy & Solid - Part 2

Happy Tuesday! Making it past Monday always seems to put me in a good mood! Today we are going to share 2 more large quilts and 2 more minis. Let's dive right in!
Introducing Mini Lombard Street

Introducing Mini Lombard Street

The original Lombard Street cover quilt is still to this day one of my all-time favorite quilts. So, when it came time to making a Mini Lombard Street, I wanted the quilt to have the same feel, but making an entire rainbow gradient on a mini seemed too busy. Kristy and I debated on gradating half the rainbow, and ended up choosing to do the warm side!
Introducing Mini Churndash Court

Introducing Mini Churndash Court

Mini Churndash Court pattern has been a long time coming. I made a mini version of our original Churndash Court years ago during my two-week churndash obsession state. I had just been introduced to the idea of mini quilts and couldn't get the idea of a mini churndash out of my head! So, I created this rainbow version with a white churndash.
Mini and Sassy

Mini and Sassy

We have finally jumped on the train heading for Mini Quilt-ville. I have always loved mini quilts and have had a gallery wall in every place I've lived, but I dragged my feet on patterning some Sass minis. Why? I am not completely sure, but I knew if I did them, I wanted to make them special. We launched 6 mini patterns at Fall Market.
Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Empire Place in Cotton Couture

Last but certainly not least is the Empire Place quilt I made using solids and black & white prints. I used Michael Miller's extensive line of Cotton Couture solids and assorted Black & White prints to make this quilt and I love how it turned out! I may have even fussy-cut some little elephants for the center of the Accent blocks.
Empire Place in Kaffe

Empire Place in Kaffe

We are cruising right along! Next up on our parade of Empire Place quilts is this gorgeous version made up in assorted Kaffe Fassett prints and wovens. We love Kaffe and had the crazy idea to chop up his large scale prints and use them in these little paper-piecing sections.
Empire Place in Me+You Batiks

Empire Place in Me+You Batiks

We are well on our way with Empire Place week! Today we are sharing this striking version made with Hoffman California's new branch of modern batiks, Me+You. They are a fresh new take on batiks and they have hand dyed solids! We couldn't resist and Kristy made an Empire Place with them!
