Paradox Point QAL - Block 7

Spring has sprung! This is one of my favorite times of the year. It is finally warm enough to dust off those shorts and frolic outdoors before it gets hot! I just spent the weekend camping and hiking around Moab, so I am feeling refreshed and invigorated creatively.

'Tis the Season for Baby Quilts

Paradox Point QAL - Block 6

Today marks the half-way point of our Paradox Point Quilt Along! We are on our 6th block and we love seeing your creations! If anyone was at QuiltCon a couple weekends ago, they may have seen the Paradox Point quilt Kristy made hanging up in the Hoffman California Fabrics booth! I will see if I can hunt down some photos. Prism Parkway in Saturday Morning

It is always fun to see digital quilt mockup come to life! This is the Prism Parkway I mocked up for Moda in Basic Grey's latest line, Saturday Morning! It is a fun line with text, florals, triangles and people toting about! I arranged the fabrics gradating in color order from red to black to blue to green to gold, diagonally down the quilt on a light grunge background.

Introducing Hootsville Row!

Hootsville Row originated as a 12" block I designed a few years ago for one of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazines. Hootie, as I called him, was one single owl perched on a branch with a golden full moon behind him. I decided to design a quilt around Hootie and create a whole family of owls. I love how Hootsville Row turned out!

One Way in Black & Whites

We made a couple different versions of our One Way quilt. I dug into my stash of black and white prints to make this quilt and added a pop with one solid wasabi arrow! Everything about this quilt from the quilting to the binding makes me smile!
