Mulholland Drive in Greens, Teals and Blues

Mulholland Drive in Greens, Teals and Blues

A few days before we left for Quilt Market in Pittsburgh, we decided to make another version of our Mulholland Drive quilt pattern. We went in a completely opposite direction of the cover quilt and started pulling lime, teal, aqua and blue fabrics and put them on a stark white background.
New Mini Quilt Wall

New Mini Quilt Wall

I have a small (and growing) collection of mini quilts. There is a huge satisfaction is designing, sewing, quilting, binding and hanging something all in one day! I have my small collection of six quilts hung behind my sewing machine table.

Our second project from Quilt Market made up in Moda fabrics is this fun Euclid Avenue. The quilt had an awesome spot in the United Notions booth and really showed off the fabric. We used the Figures fabric line by Zen Chic for Moda fabrics. I love this line; it makes a great guy quilt!

We had a beautiful Euclid Avenue quilt hanging out in the Maywood Studio booth at Quilt Market in Pittsburgh. Our grandma/mom, MaryEllen Laughary made this quilt top. It turned out great! This version is a softer and more sophisticated version than any others we have shared.
Churndash Court in Zig Zags

We have one last project from the Dear Stella Design booth at Quilt Market to share. This is our Churndash Court made in Zig Zags. We used the entire line of zig zags except white, gray, black and navy. We added a few Confetti Dots to fill in the color: cantaloupe, lime and delft. The quilt finishes 36" x 36"; the perfect size for a wall-hanging or baby quilt.

I am going to preface this post by saying that I was really hesitant to mix these fall colors with cream backgrounds and a solid pure white. That being said, I have never been happier to be wrong! I absolutely love this quilt and it has become one of my favorites!
