Bourbon Street... Batik Style!

Bourbon Street... Batik Style!

Every time we teach a Mystery Class, my mom and I each make a version of the quilt. (See mine here) This beauty is my Mom's Bourbon Street quilt. I am not certain... but I am pretty sure we broke a few laws taking these shots!
Wiley Way is finally here!

Wiley Way is finally here!

The final new pattern we will be showing at Market is finally ready for the public eye!! Woot woot! (Insert happy dance here!) This pattern is quick, easy and fun! We have already made several of them, 11 to be exact! (Don't worry, we will share them too!)

Bourbon Street in Confetti Dots

Taking photos of our finished projects is very high on my "Why I Love My Job" list. In fact I should make an actual list someday! (note to self) I try to find new places and spots to take photos, but usually they are in my house or front yard.

Cooper Carry-All in Shadowland II

Here is another project we made for Quilt Market in Houston! This is our Cooper Carry-All tote bag made up in Shadowland II from Kona Bay Fabrics. These prints are gorgeous and so easy to work with! We are making a Diamond Alley quilt in these too! Photos to come later =]
Introducing Bourbon Street!

Introducing Bourbon Street!

This is one of our "long-time coming" patterns. We taught this quilt as a Mystery Class back in February.... yes, February. But patterns are now finally available!! Woo hoo! It is a good feeling to get something posted you have been working on forever!
Lullaby Lane - The Final Take!

Lullaby Lane - The Final Take!

Happy Saturday! Today is the last day of our Lullaby Lane week. Remember the sweet little boy on our Lullaby Lane pattern cover? Well we made him a quilt too! I took tons of photos of him on his road-trip themed quilt, so be prepared.
Lullaby Lane - Take 5

Lullaby Lane - Take 5

Post number 5 featuring Lullaby Lane is here! Toady I am going to show you two quilts I was commissioned to make for a newborn girl and her 5-year-old sister. The fabric for these doesn't quite coordinate like the last pair I made.

Lullaby Lane - Take 3

Alright, I have now shown you the two cover quilts for Lullaby Lane. Now, I want to show you the quilt I we made for the latest addition to our ever-growing family. (He is already 6 months old!)
Main Street Sew and Tell

Main Street Sew and Tell

One of the lucky aspects of my Mom being a longarm quilter is we get to see some Sassafras Lane quilts come in finished! This beauty was made by Karen Morgan using our Main Street Quilt Pattern and some very colorful batiks.
The things we endure for a good photo!

The things we endure for a good photo!

We always have a blast on our photo-shoots. This is one of the things I will miss the most when we are separated by states. Today was a little challenging though! You may have seen on the news that Colorado is getting a little extra rain then normal (to put it lightly!).
