Paradox Point QAL - Block 6

Paradox Point QAL - Block 6

Today marks the half-way point of our Paradox Point Quilt Along! We are on our 6th block and we love seeing your creations! If anyone was at QuiltCon a couple weekends ago, they may have seen the Paradox Point quilt Kristy made hanging up in the Hoffman California Fabrics booth! I will see if I can hunt down some photos. Until then, here are our block 6's!
12 Different Ways to Cut a Fat-Quarter

12 Different Ways to Cut a Fat-Quarter

If you are like me, you collect fat-quarters of your favorite fabric lines. I can't always justify buying multiple yards of an entire line, but a fat-quarter bundle, I can usually manage! These are usually my favorite pieces of fabric and I hoard them until the perfect project comes around.

Andover Mini Quilts

You all know that we have caught the mini quilt fever that has been going around for the last few years! These minis are almost a year old - I am working on this timely blogging thing still! But, hey, better late then never. Andover sent us a cultivated bundle of beautiful warm Alison Glass and Lizzy House fabrics. We then created these two minis!

Paradox Point QAL - Block 5

I can't believe we are already almost through February. 2017 has been a fun year so far. I usually hibernate and create all winter long, but our weather has been a giant tease and we have had a couple weeks of 60-70 degree days. I have been working on some secret sewing and I can't wait to share it with you. Until then, the Paradox Point QAL is rolling along - before we dive into the blocks, we have a little announcement.
Hootsville Row Pattern Hack Pillow

Hootsville Row Pattern Hack Pillow

Hootsville Row is a fun wall-hanging pattern that features 9 adorable owls with big peering eyes! These little guys take a little bit to trace, cut, fuse and appliqué down. So, for a quicker and still adorable option, make one owl and turn it into a pillow! That is exactly what my Mom did as a gift for her niece's birthday.

Paradox Point QAL - Block 3

It is that time again! We have a few more blocks to share with you today with the Paradox Point QAL. Personally, block 3 is my favorite of the bunch! It reminds me of the diamonds on my favorite playing cards. I think the simplicity of the diamonds and triangles is enticing! Keep scrolling for some amazing Block 3 arrows.

I have put together a few tips on how to stick with your 2017 sewing goals, so here we go!

Free Patchwork Heart Mini Quilt Pattern

Free Patchwork Heart Mini Quilt Pattern

Love is in the air.... well, heart-shaped candy is the grocery stores at least! We are one month away from Valentine's Day, so we decided to make a little something. In 2014, we published this "Pieces of my Heart" wall-hanging as a free pattern.
