Hootsville Row Pattern Hack Pillow
Hootsville Row is a fun wall-hanging pattern that features 9 adorable owls with big peering eyes! These little guys take a little bit to trace, cut, fuse and appliqué down. So, for a quicker and still adorable option, make one owl and turn it into a pillow! That is exactly what my Mom did as a gift for her niece's birthday.
To make your own 16" owl pillow, elongate the branch across the entire width of the background. Place the owl on the branch and appliqué it down. For a little flair, freehand some green leaves or add the recipient's name along the bottom.
I adore these little cross-eyed eyes! Purple is Micah's favorite color, so Kristy dug into her purple scrap bin and created a gradating owl. She pulled the aqua color from one of the purple prints and used it for the owl's flaps. Add a punch of yellow for the nose and feet and voilá!
