News from the Orange Studio
Main Street Sew and Tell
One of the lucky aspects of my Mom being a longarm quilter is we get to see some Sassafras Lane quilts come in finished! This beauty was made by Karen Morgan using our Main Street Quilt Pattern and some very colorful batiks.
The things we endure for a good photo!
We always have a blast on our photo-shoots. This is one of the things I will miss the most when we are separated by states. Today was a little challenging though! You may have seen on the news that Colorado is getting a little extra rain then normal (to put it lightly!).
Lullaby Lane - Take 2
The next Lullaby Lane I want to show off is the one featured on the back side of the pattern. We wanted to show a "baby girl" version of the quilt on the cover to accompany the "baby boy" quilt. We used Flight Patterns by Tamara Kate for Michael Miller Fabrics.
Introducing Lullaby Lane!
Lullaby Lane is an adorable, quick and personalize-able crib quilt. Perfect to show off your favorite novelty print. This fat-quarter friendly quilt is great for baby girls and boys. Pick a center fat-quarter panel and begin making the best gift a baby can receive, a quilt!
Buggy Barn Outdoor Quilt Show 2013
Every year the Buggy Barn throws a big outdoor quilt show! When we lived in the area, you betcha we went! It is a little harder to attend from Colorado though. This year Janet and Pam asked us if we would be interested in doing a trunk show.
New Baby Quilt Pattern Coming Soon!
Sunday our friends Neil and Jen brought over their adorable 4 month old, Thomas. He was the perfect little model for our new baby quilt pattern! Here is a little sneak peek of the quilt.
Blogger's Quilt Festival: ROYGBIV Entry
This year you can enter two quilts in the Blogger's Quilt Festival! My second entry is an oldie but goody: Atlantic Avenue! It was hard to narrow it done to one category for each quilt.
Blogger's Quilt Festival: Scrap Quilt Entry
I stumbled across Amy's Blogger's Quilt Festival last Fall when she was announcing the prize winners. I scrolled through and clicked on all the beautiful quilts that had been posted and bookmarked her blog!
Sewology Sunday: Market Marathon
Hello lovelies. So... I am aware I have been dropping the metaphorical blogging ball. But I have a really great excuse: we have been sewing our batooties off! Market is right around the corner and we have been making some very pretty quilts for a few booths.
Introducing the Lexington Lane quilt!
Lexington Lane is a fun, quick, modern and easy hexagon quilt pattern. Plus it is fat-quarter friendly! So, gather all those fun fat-quarters you have been collecting for years! The pattern includes cutting and instructions for three different size quilts.
