Quiltmaker Magazine has a theme to each of their issues. Jan/Feb '14 issue's theme was Color. We all know I love color. So I jumped on the opportunity to create something colorful! I also love geometry. For this quilt, I took an equilateral triangle, and cut it into 6 equal pieces.

Bourbon Street in Confetti Dots

Bourbon Street in Confetti Dots

Taking photos of our finished projects is very high on my "Why I Love My Job" list. In fact I should make an actual list someday! (note to self) I try to find new places and spots to take photos, but usually they are in my house or front yard.

Sewology Sunday - Paper Piecing

Sewology Sunday - Paper Piecing

Set the stitch length on your sewing machine to 18-20 stitches per inch. On some machines that will be a 1.5. The smaller stitches make it easier to rip off the paper. All right, we are ready to begin! (We are using our Lombard Street pattern as an example in the photos. Lombard Street is coming soon!)
