Introducing DAZY DAISY DRIVE!

We are so excited to introduce our newest pattern - Dazy Daisy Drive! This pattern features funky appliquéd daisies dancing across a checkerboard background. I love how these organic irregular shapes look sitting on such a contrasting square background! These fun flowers look fun with traditional white petals AND in a plethora of colors - we made projects featuring both looks, so keep scrolling to see!

Baby (quilt) Fever - Part 1

As quilters, we know the best gift you can give an expecting family or newborn baby is a quilt. Maybe it is a family thing, but every baby in our circle gets a quilt. And this year, our circle is growing! 2023 seems to be the year of babies. We kicked off the year by having a baby quilt sewing palooza! Mini Euclid Avenue Gets A Makeover!

In my quest to rainbowify everything, I decided to remake our Mini Euclid Avenue quilt pattern. And this time, as you may have guessed, it is rainbow! I modeled the mini after it’s sidekick pattern, Euclid Avenue’s current cover quilt. I love making mini quilts and love displaying them even more. This baby is going on the wall where I can admire it everyday!

NEW Sassafras Squad STICKERS!

Have you ever had a small inkling to do something, then sit down and become completely consumed by it? That was me with these stickers! It all started with a desire to have some small products near the checkout at our retail shows. I started to think about things I tend to grab, buy and collect - stickers and enamel pins came to mind. So, I flipped through my notebook to see if any doodles felt inspiring. 24 hours later, I had 10 designs! (a few of which will become enamel pins soon!) It felt great to use another faucet of my creativity!

Introducing ZOOTROPOLIS 2!

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve been teased relentlessly with our daily character introduction videos! Zootropolis 2 is our newest self-published book and is a sequel of our popular Zootropolis book. Joining the rowdy high rise building full of animals, is a tall London-style bus full of new critters! Don’t want to make a bus? No problem! We have included an additional checkerboard quilt pattern. All the animals are fusible appliqué and can be set in either quilt or a fun pillow! We hope you experiment and play with these characters!

Introducing DANNY’S DINOS!

Joining our large scale animal appliqué patterns are some Jurassic era critters! We are so excited to launch our Danny’s Dinos pattern and cannot wait to see what you all make with them! We’ve toyed around with the idea of doing another large scale animal pattern but were apprehensive about finding a printer (we haven’t done any of the large scale printing since we move to WA state). Once we got that resolved, we knew the next set would be the youngest of our family’s favorite species - DINOSAURS! We had so much fun sketching these characters out and made them as large as possible, for quick and easy appliquéing.
