Paradox Point QAL - Block 12

Paradox Point QAL - Block 12

We took a little break from the Paradox Point QAL, but we are back now with the last block! This last block is a little bit of an illusion. The arrow is made up of four triangles that are made up of triangles inside of triangles! This is a little bit of an inception block!

Free Patchwork Pear Mini Quilt Pattern

I have one more mini fruit wallhanging up my sleeve! This little pear looks great with the Mini PineappleMini Orange and Mini Apples. If I ever have wall space in a future kitchen space, I imagine a little wall collage. For now, they are making my mini wall even cuter!

Now onto our only paper-pieced project for our Spring patterns, Darby Road! This fun take on hexagons is pieced in half-hexagons and sewn together in rows, so there are no y-seams or tricky construction. Darby Road is a fun pattern to experiment with color placement and create a plethora of different looks!

Introducing the Bugsy Backpack!

The Bugsy Backpack is up today! We have been wanting to make a backpack pattern for awhile, but were waiting on a unique idea to come to mind and this Spring it did! Our Bugsy Backpack is named after my little sister, Alayna's nickname, and has been on my back since the first sample was made.

Paradox Point QAL - Block 11

Welp, I've done it again. Every year after Quilt Market my blogging goals deteriorate quickly! But, I am back on it with the second the last block of our Paradox Point QAL. Alayna is still very behind, but maybe next week when she is on summer break, she will catch up! But, the other three ladies have some beautiful blocks to share!

Argyle - Free Summer Block Party Pattern

Summer, summer, summertime! Welcome to my day on the Summer Block Party hosted by fabric.com

When I originally sketched up my block for this shindig, I wasn't thinking anything to do with argyle. I was thinking mountains, trees and reflection - but then came the color scheme! The more I played with it, the more it resembled argyle, so I embraced it! (But, colored differently, this could definitely look like mountains, trees and such!)
