Introducing Alligator Alley!

Alrighty! It is pattern introduction time! We had six new patterns this Spring - they have been on sale since mid May, but this will kick off the proper introductions!

Alligator Alley

Alligator Alley is first up! This quilt is going to be my go-to quick quilt pattern! We named this pattern after the resemblance to alligator teeth.

Alligator Alley

For our cover Alligator Alley quilt, I dug into my novelty stash! I pulled 35 prints ranging from lime green to periwinkle blue and created a gradation of color and adorable prints! I chose a solid cheddar fabric for the accent and it created a perfect accent between the novelties and the white gridded background.

Alligator Alley

We photographed the Alligator Alley quilt cover on two brightly painted doors in our backyard! The orange and aqua doors make a perfect backdrop for the quilt and sometimes it is easier to stay close to home.

Alligator Alley

In addition to our cover quilt, we made a few other quilts. We made a fun version with Trans-Pacific by Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Organic Fabrics. We paired the adorable prints with an orange wink fabric for the accent and blueish-grey solid for the background. We failed to take an overall photo, but there is one here because they are kitting it!

Alligator Alley

Juli made this adorable tall size quilt with a cute sloth fabric as the focus! The smallest size in the pattern makes for a perfect baby quilt and this sloth fabric from Timeless Treasures called my named! I paired it with a bright lime green for the background and two slightly darker greens for the accents. It turned out adorable and Juli's quilting is amazing!
