Summer may be coming to end seasonally, but somedays I choose to live in a perpetual state of summer! Especially here in the PNW, we need a jolt of summer on those dreary days. So, without further ado, I’d like to officially introduce the most perfect summer quilt, Citrus Circle!

I have been seeing strawberries EVERYWHERE! Growing wild on bushes in my neighborhood, on plates, side tables, mugs and phones in TJMaxx, AND on a bunch of new fabric lines coming out! I also happened to realize we haven't added to Mini Patchwork Fruit Collection in quite awhile. So, I decided to make a little Patchwork Strawberry and I think it turned out pretty cute!

I couldn’t help myself! I designed a bunch of new stickers while in Hawaii helping my partner recover from knee surgery. I had lots of down time, endless tv shows and too many ideas! I was having so much fun, I kept waking up in the middle of the night to jot down another idea or small edit to a current doodle.

I love the convenience of a wide backing. You all know I sometimes love to use the cutoffs from the front to piecemeal a backing, but sometimes when the quilt top is done, so am I mentally! When I started designing fabric a few years ago, I always wanted to design some fun wide backing designs that would compliment the fabric lines. And one day like a ton of bricks, an idea hit me and Head in the Clouds was conceived! 

We are so excited to introduce our newest pattern - Dazy Daisy Drive! This pattern features funky appliquéd daisies dancing across a checkerboard background. I love how these organic irregular shapes look sitting on such a contrasting square background! These fun flowers look fun with traditional white petals AND in a plethora of colors - we made projects featuring both looks, so keep scrolling to see!

Welcome back to our recap on ALL the baby quilts we have made since the beginning of 2023! As I mentioned in our last post, it appears to be baby season in our circle and we are trying to make enough quilts to keep up!

As quilters, we know the best gift you can give an expecting family or newborn baby is a quilt. Maybe it is a family thing, but every baby in our circle gets a quilt. And this year, our circle is growing! 2023 seems to be the year of babies. We kicked off the year by having a baby quilt sewing palooza! Here is a little recap of a few that have been gifted (more coming in the next few months).

It is about time our Zipper Pulls had some Zipper Tape to play with! We decided on 9 different Zipper Tape styles to carry and boy are they pretty! These are zippers have nylon coils in a metallic-finish that can easily be cut and sewn. These zipper teeth will give your bag a professional look without the hassle of a metal zipper. These Zippers are #5, so they will pair perfectly with our pulls.

As a personal collector of enamel pins, it felt like a perfect product for us to explore! I turned four of our sticker designs into pins and love how they turned out! Like the stickers, these are limited edition and once they sell out, they’re gone for good. Pin these little guys to jackets, banners, bags and more to show off your quilty side!

It is February again, and you know what that means! Hearts everywhere - especially all over your creators social media pages. Well I guess we are jumping on the band wagon a little bit with this fun quilt we made for our soon-to-be newest family member! 🍼
