I have a small (and growing) collection of mini quilts. There is a huge satisfaction is designing, sewing, quilting, binding and hanging something all in one day! I have my small collection of six quilts hung behind my sewing machine table.

We have two bags made up in Andover Fabrics to share with you! The first bag that was displayed in their Quilt Market booth is this colorful Cooper Carry-All tote! We made this version of the Cooper Carry-All in the bright and fun Dazzle fabric line by Kim Schaefer. We love how it turned out!

We had the great honor of having a project in the Westminster Fibers/FreeSpirit Fabric Quilt Market booth in Pittsburgh. This is our Shelby Satchel bag pattern made in Empire designed by Parson Gray (aka David Butler) for FreeSpirit. The bag finishes 11.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep and fits an iPad perfectly. This version has a completely different feel to it! Less novelty and more mature!

We had leftover fabric from the Euclid Avenue Juli made in Houndstooth & Friends fabric so we decided to make a super cute Shelby Satchel! It is a little bit scrappier than the others, but we made do with the Michael Miller fabric we had! The bag finishes 11.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep and fits an iPad perfectly.

Here is another fun Quilt Market project! We made this Lombard Street quilt to be featured in the Michael Miller Fabrics booth. This quilt features the Crayon Box Basics line and we love how it turned out! The quilt finished 47” x 54” - the perfect size for a throw or large wall hanging.

One of the quilts we had hanging in the Michael Miller Fabrics booth was this fun Euclid Avenue. Our good friend and pattern tester, Juli Kieny made and quilted this version and it turned out great! This quilt features Houndstooth & Friends in the Lagoon color story and finished 56" x 72".

I officially declare this Michael Miller week here on the Sass blog. We have four projects made up in Michael Miller fabrics to share with you and we are kicking it off with this Churndash Court. We made this version of our Churndash Court pattern with assorted Kiss Dots. I love how this one turned out! It glows! The quilt finishes 36" x 36"; the perfect size for a wall-hanging or baby quilt.

Occasionally we get to make digital quilts for fabric companies, combining our patterns and their brand new fabric. These digital quilts get printed onto sales sheets and travel around with sales reps. It is a great way to show the new fabric and give our patterns some exposure.

This is our Shelby Satchel bag pattern made in Elementary designed by the Sweetwater ladies for Moda. The bag finishes 11.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep and fits an iPad perfectly. This is another fun version with a novelty print on the flap.
