Hello, Ollie Fabrics Blog Tour

Hello lovely blog hoppers! Welcome to our little corner of the internet! Today is our day on the Hello, Ollie Fabrics Blog Tour. I have always admired Bonnie Christine's designs and when she asked us to make something for her Spring Quilt Market booth back in May, I jumped at the opportunity! 

Hello, Ollie is a delicate and sweet fabric line chalked full of soft prints featuring florals, swans and geometric shapes. We made a few of our fun 3D hexagon pillows with three different Arcadia Avenue blocks! We mixed 12 of the light backgrounded prints, a rose colored print and a few solids. Throw in some bright coral piping and these pillows have me swooning! 

We had a lot of fun taking photos of these pillows on a dock over looking Lake Washington in Kirkland, Washington. The lake makes a fun background that carved wood bench is my new favorite photo prop!

We also decided to make a Baker Street quilt with the Hello, Ollie line! We used the light prints for the main fabrics, the rose print for the accent and the Cabernet Pure Element solid for the background. I love how the light blocks appear to float off the quilt!
