Firelights Lane in Summer Song 2
Today I am sharing the perfect quilt for summer!
We made this Firelights Lane quilt up in Summer Song 2 by Zoe Pearn for Riley Blake Designs' Quilt Market booth in Minneapolis this Spring. This fun line is full of bright colors, funky flowers, multicolored stripes and blooming trees. To make our quilt, we used as many different colors and prints as we could! When we narrowed the line down to our 7 featured prints, we chose a yellow solid for the background. There are bits of yellow in about half of the prints we chose, so it was a perfect (and bright!) choice.
Here are some photos of the quilt - everything from a flat shot to a scrunched photo and details shots of the striped binding and quilt label!
This next shot is my favorite of the bunch! There is something wonderful about a scrunched up quilt. The way the light hits the folds, just makes it look super inviting!

Such a happy quilt! The choice of the yellow “makes” the quilt! Great choice!!
