Wynkoop Court in Sunday Morning
Today we are sharing another version of our Wynkoop Court made with Dear Stella fabrics. This one screams Spring time and was made up in Sunday Morning fabrics.
This quilt was more planned than the rest. We featured the large floral print in the hexagons and surrounded them with matching calico triangles. The colors create stars that nest into one another. There is a paisley print in the triangles between the stars.
Quilt Stats:
- Made & Quilted by: Kristy Wolf
- Pattern: Wynkoop Court
- Fabric: Sunday Morning from Dear Stella
- Finished Size: 61" x 72" - Grande
- Techniques: easy-peasy triangle piecing!
- My Favorite Part: How the matching triangles create stars around the hexagons.
My mom quilted spirals in the hexagons and greek key triangles in the triangles. She bound the quilt with a subtle color changing stripe and backed the quilt in the light grey calico print. The quilting really pops on the back!
The Wynkoop Court pattern is available here in PDF and paper form. If you make this or any other Sassafras Lane pattern, we would love to see it! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Sewing!

I am going to buy this pattern but was curious how it got its name “Wynkoop Court”. My maiden name is Wynkoop.
