Wynkoop Court in Mika
We have another version of Wynkoop Court to share with you today. I absolutely love this quilt! It will definitely be hanging around in our living room next Fall.
Our neighbor's tree was turning orange a few days before Quilt Market, so we went out to snap a few photos! It was the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous quilt made up in Dear Stella's Mika fabric line.
My Mom quilted swirls in the beige hexagons and and freeform feather through the triangles. The subtle beige stripe in the hexagons really lets the quilting shine!
Quilt Stats:
- Made by: Shayla Wolf (moi)
- Quilted by: Kristy Wolf
- Pattern: Wynkoop Court
- Fabric: Mika from Dear Stella Design
- Finished Size: 61" x 72" - Grande
- Techniques: easy-peasy triangle piecing!
- My Favorite Part: The color combination for oranges, mustards, turquoises and beige.
We bound the quilt with the orange Net fabric. I love how it frames the quilt but isn't overpowering! I made a label with a few scraps from the top and Voila!
The Wynkoop Court pattern is available here in PDF and paper form. If you make this or any other Sassafras Lane pattern, we would love to see it! Be sure to stop by tomorrow for another Wynkoop Court made with Dear Stella fabrics. Thanks for stopping by!
