Introducing Wynkoop Court!

We have one pattern from Quilt Market in Houston to officially introduce -- meet Wynkoop Court! Wynkoop Court is a unique and modern mashup of hexagons and triangle created with no Y-seams. This is the perfect pattern for fat-quarters or can be a scrappy as you want! Showcase your quilting or your favorite fabric in the large hexagons! The pattern included three sizes: Tall (47" x 54"), Grande (56" x 72") and Venti (77" x 95").

My mom did some great quilting on this quilt that really emphasizes the pattern. She quilted spirals in the white center hexagons and greek key triangles in the orange triangles. We bound the quilt in a fun orange and white stripe -- it was a perfect finish to this scrappy quilt!

We had a lot of fun photographing this scrappy orange quilt! We first found a neat brick wall with a wood panel across the top on a country road outside of Boulder. It was a nice serene backdrop that looked great with this busy modern quilt. We then found a fun graffiti wall in Boulder that allows aspiring artists to practice their art form! It was painted with lots of shades of blues and greens and was a great contrast for the orange quilt. The locations were complete opposites, but both fun in their own way!
