Marti's Main Street Quilt

Ooh La La! That's all I can say about this version of our Main Street Quilt pattern! Well I think I can conjure up a little more to say! This beauty was made by Marti Dyer-Allison, also known as Aunt Marti. She has an amazing blog, 52 Quilts, where she documents all of her amazing quilting endeavors! I strongly recommend you check it out for some quilty inspiration.

I love the bright jewel tone batiks on the stark black background. The blocks really pop! She chose a white as the accent and it plays nicely with all the fabrics!

My Mom (aka Wolf Creek Quilting) quilted spirals in the centers of the blocks and a feather fill in the rest with a variegated thread. The thread has some color and brings some life to the black background.

We love seeing our patterns made up by you. If you make this pattern or any other of our Sassafras Lane Designs patterns, we would love to feature the quilt on here! Just shoot us an email! The Main Street quilt pattern is available here in PDF and paper form! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
