Quilt Market 2016 Recap - Part 2
If you didn't see part 1 of our Quilt Market Recap, check it out! We showed a little bit of our day-to-day activities and now we are going to do a booth tour! We get an empty 10' x 10' booth and transform it into this colorful quilty wonderland!
Here is the entire booth! We will start our tour from the left and move around the booth to the right.
This was our Teddy Tote display! We made a bunch of different versions of this bag and wanted to show them all off. Behind the quilt on the right is the storage area we made to hide our boxes and extra products!
Below the bags is an orange stool topped with a prism pillow. These little hershey kiss shaped pillows show off the blocks from our Paradox Point quilt pattern and are scattered around the booth!
Featured along one whole wall is our new BOM pattern, Paradox Point. This quilt was definitely an eye-catcher for our booth this Market!
We hung two other versions of our Paradox Point quilts in the corner and below them is another orange stool with a prism pillow atop!
In the back corner of the booth, we fashioned a pipe stand to hold two more beautiful versions of our Paradox Point quilts. Also in this photo, you get a glimpse of a Piccadilly Circle quilt, a Quadrant Court quilt and a few mini quilts!
Here is a closeup of the top of the pipe quilt holder!
On the other wall, we displayed our mini quilts, Piccadilly Circle and Quadrant Court. Here is a closeup of the pipe quilt stands we displayed the larger quilts on!
We remade all of our mini quilts for this Market. Each mini is made with one color and white. We arranged them in color order to create a little rainbow wall!
Above our mini quilt wall, we displayed our woven Sassafras Lane Designs sign! In this photo, you get a peek of our Mini Firelights Lane, Mini One Way, Mini Privet Drive, Mini Lombard Street and Piccadilly Circle quilts!
We often get asked how we hang our mini quilts on our walls at home in our studio. We use corsage pins just like we do in our Quilt Market booth!
Here is a closeup of the gorgeous quilting Juli Kieny did on her Piccadilly Circle quilt! It is just spectacular!
We also put together a little Ikea desk to take orders on! We displayed a Quadrant Court quilt and Paradox Point table runner on the outside corner of our booth.
All of our new patterns are now available. I will be sharing loads of closeup photos and introducing them properly soon! Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!
