Good Vibes Only Blog Tour Recap + Giveaway
Well that was a whirlwind of creativity and beauty! Recap day is always a little bittersweet. It means the end of something fun but it also means I get to go through and relive all the amazing projects that we shared over the last few weeks.
GOOD NEWS
Good Vibes Only has officially shipped out to the first round of stores. In fact, our bolts arrived today! We will get our bundles cut up and the pre-orders shipped off this week! Now, let’s get to the pretty quilts, bags and projects.
Natalie Barnes of BEYOND THE REEF PATTERNS
Natalie made these super fun and quick quilt-as-you-go coasters and placemats! They would make the perfect addition to any summer table. Give them as a hostess gift or make them to brighten up your own dining table.
Jo Westfoot of THE CRAFTY NOMAD FLEET
I can’t get enough of this mini quilt featuring the phrase “Live Life in Colour” Jo made! It is rainbow-tastic in all the right ways and fits in perfectly on her mini quilt wall. I think I need one for my sewing studio!
Elisabeth Hardy of ELISABEW QUILTS
How fun are these fussy-cut Zippy Pouches Elisabeth made?! She fussy-cut a few words from the word prints and paired them with bright contrasting colors. She is going to gift these to some Bold, Fancy and Tough women in her life - how cool is that?
Elise Baek of ELISE AND EMELIE
Diamonds, hand-quilting and color order has me all goo goo! This table runner made by Elise is absolutely stunning! She hand-stitched the diamonds and hand-quilted the entire runner. Plus, she made a matching zip pouch!
Sylvia Schaefer of FLYING PARROT QUILTS
This Gossamer Wings pillow Sylvia made is full of rainbow goodness! This foundation paper-pieced dragonfly pattern is an absolute perfect pairing for Good Vibes Only's colorful prints. This gorgeous pillow was displayed in my Quilt Market booth too!
Kaitlyn Howell of KNOT AND THREAD DESIGN
This jaw-dropping quilt was designed and made by my friend Kaitlyn and I absolutely adore everything about it! It has all my favorite elements - geometry, color gradation and stripes! She is releasing this pattern soon, so stay tuned!
Nicole Young of LILLYELLA
It is officially potluck season! Show up in style like Nicole will be doing with these Wrap and Go Cozies she made. She combined strip-pieced rainbows and the black & white word print to make these stunning carriers!
Nicole Daksiewicz of MODERN HANDCRAFT
Nicole made up her newest pattern, Flower Shop, in Good Vibes Only and I absolutely love it! The bright colors of the line make perfect flowers and the low volumes are a perfect backdrop for them to pop off of!
Sarah Sharp of NO HATS IN THE HOUSE
Sarah's Prickly Path quilt is a complete show stopper! She used the low volumes in the line as the backgrounds, the blacks as the arches and the colors are the pricks! This pattern is from her book, Adventures in Paper Piecing and Design.
Janet Nesbitt of ONE S1STER DESIGNS
Janet has been a long-time family friend and I have always admired her patterns and technique! She made this beautiful version of her Sew Crazy Stars from her book, Crazy Favorite Things. Can we just take a second to admire that pieced sashing?!!
Sherry Shish of POWERED BY QUILTING
This beautiful Jelly Roll Rug made by Sherry is too pretty to step on! She was sweet enough to allow me to display this beauty in my Quilt Market booth. This colorful rug would add a little pizazz and joy to any room!
Emily Dennis of QUILTY LOVE
Emily made this sweet Plus and Minus baby quilt with Good Vibes Only and it turned out so cute! She used some of the softer prints from the line and it gives the line a completely different look. Her wavy quilting finishes the quilt off nicely!
Robin Long of ROBIN RUTH DESIGN
"And the Good Vibes Award Goes To...." These fun awards Robin made with her rulers are just too fun! The words have velcro on the back of them, so they can be interchanged for the current event! These great awards hung in my Quilt Market booth.
Sarah Thomas of SARIDITTY
This little pouch Sarah whipped up (as her second project) turned our perfectly! She fussy-cut some words for the top and will be gifting this beauty full of art supplies to her little niece for her birthday!
Jess VanDenburgh of SEW MANY CREATIONS
Jess is only of my favorite people and her bags are to die for! She made up not one, but two of her Central Park Slings in Good Vibes Only and they are gorgeous! She paired one of the word prints with a turquoise teal and it is perfection!
Irene Sytema of SUGARIDOO
Irene's designs are always so happy and these Little Fish Mug Rugs are just too cute for words! These little fish look swimmingly in the Good Vibes Only fabric. Plus the foundation paper-piecing pattern for these mug rugs is free on her site!
Joanne Hart of UNICORN HARTS
Living up to her name, Joanne made not one, but two unicorn projects with Good Vibes Only fabric! She made one banner with a rainbow background and one tote bag with a rainbow checkered backside. These unicorns are full of good vibes and I love them!
Tara Curtis of THE WEFTY NEEDLE
How fun are these Komebukuro Traditional Japanese Rice Bags that Tara made? She called them Affirmation bags and the word print she used on the outside is the perfect fit! I love the origin and process behind this project!
Nichole Vogelsinger of WILD BOHO
And last, but certainly not least are the two stunning hoops Nichole stitched up! Both of these hoops are absolutely gorgeous! She let me borrow one for my Quilt Market booth and it was hard to ship it back! The Ruffled Color Wheel is her latest pattern.
A big thank you to all the amazing and talented makers who created a gorgeous project for the blog tour. I adored seeing all the creative and different ways to use Good Vibes Only. Next, I can’t wait to see what you make with it!
