Wiley Way in Shadow Play
For Fall Market, EE Schenk asked us if we would make a version of our Wiley Way in a modern color palette using Shadow Play from Maywood Studios. We chose oranges, limes, aquas and greys on a light blue background and asked our talented friend, Gitte Hopkins, to sew it for us! She did an amazing job.
To add some texture to this quilt, my Mom quilted a different motif in each zigzag. She quilted some feathers, swirls, wood grain, bubbles, lines, scrolls, ferns, etc.
We added a little binding detail using some scraps of the zig zags.
