Cobalt Pebbled Faux Leather

This soft and pliable faux leather is a great way to get a professional look at a reasonable price point. This vegan vinyl is thick enough to hold structure, but flexible enough to sew and have a beautiful drape. • Size: 18in x 53in
• Thickness: 1mm 
• Recommended Needle: A 80/12 Microtex Sharp or denim needle are recommended, with a longer stitch length, 3.0mm to 3.5mm.
• Recommended Thread: Polyester thread, we love a 50 or 40 weight.
• Recommended Foot: This vinyl is not super sticky, but a Teflon foot will be helpful when sewing with this material. If you do not have a teflon foot, placing a piece of matte tape to the bottom of your foot will help ease it over the fabric.
• Recommended Notions: Sewing clips, because pins will leave holes and buckle the vinyl. Having tissue paper near by is helpful when the faux leather begins to stick to the bed of your machine.
• Ironing: You can carefully iron faux leather from the WRONG SIDE of the fabric, using a pressing cloth and low iron setting. Do not use any steam – it will detach the bond.
• How to Clean: This fabric can be spot washed with a damp washcloth.
