New Product Alert - Foundation Aurifil Thread Boxes!

Yup, that is my face on the box. Weird, right? A little! But when you are asked to make a Designer Aurifil Thread Box, why on earth would you say no? I picked out 12 spools of Aurifil 50wt 100% cotton threads that create a spectrum and coordinate perfectly with Foundation fabrics.

The cover of the Foundation Aurifil Thread Box features the Euclid Avenue quilt made up in Foundation fabrics. I do play favorites with my quilts and this one makes me so happy! It also happens to feature every bright print and low volume print in the line!

The box includes 12 spools of thread - a white, pale yellow, golden yellow, orange, coral, magenta, purple, blue, turquoise, grass green, limey green and medium grey. Each spool contains 1,422 yards of thread.

Here are the spools with all the colorful prints in the Foundation fabric line. I do love a rainbow (or two, or twenty!) and this photo has me all giddy and excited to go create something! 

Aurifil's 50 wt thread is perfect for everything from patchwork to bag making and appliqué to paper-piecing. The thread is 100% cotton and is the least linty thread I have sewn with. Plus, it comes in all these pretty colors!
