Fall Quilt Market Sneak Peek

Fall Quilt Market Sneak Peek

I am writing this blog post from an uncomfortable airplane seat somewhere over Nevada or Utah. You know what that means! The Sass girls will both be back in the Orange Studio getting ready for Quilt Market. We will be previewing 4 new patterns in Houston and can't wait to share them with you! Here is a little sneak peek of what we have been up to!
Alayna's Shelby Satchel

Alayna's Shelby Satchel

This Shelby Satchel is one of the first bags we made. We made it with my little sister in mind, and surely enough, she had it claimed before it was finished. We used a fun owl print for the flap, a red print for the bag body and a yellow polkadot for the accent.

Since we our first Quilt Market, we have been pairing up with Jennifer from Monaluna. We have loved her fabrics since she was designing for larger companies, and now she has her own operation! We made a Shelby Satchel in the gorgeous Under the Sea fabrics to be displayed in the Monaluna Quilt Market booth.

We had leftover fabric from the Euclid Avenue Juli made in Houndstooth & Friends fabric so we decided to make a super cute Shelby Satchel! It is a little bit scrappier than the others, but we made do with the Michael Miller fabric we had! The bag finishes 11.5 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 2 inches deep and fits an iPad perfectly.
