Today is Clay Court's day in the sun! This quilt is incredibly versatile and so much fun to make. The block is comprised of small squares inside of a triangle inside of a square and can be made with scraps or precut 2.5" strips sets!

The Bugsy Backpack is up today! We have been wanting to make a backpack pattern for awhile, but were waiting on a unique idea to come to mind and this Spring it did! Our Bugsy Backpack is named after my little sister, Alayna's nickname, and has been on my back since the first sample was made.

I collect Christmas fabric like a squirrel stashes nuts! With my new self-proclaimed "Must use the fabric on my shelves instead of sit and stare at it" attitude, I decided to cut into some of it! I made one, yes only one for now, Mel's Mats placemat. I love, love, love how it turned out and you can bet I will be making an entire set this week for my table.

Happy Presidents Day and welcome to post 4 of the Arcadia Avenue QAL - where we share our Peacock Feathers blocks! We named this block Peacock Feathers because when you sew two wedges together, they resemble a close up of those pretty feathers!
