Introducing Alligator Alley!

Introducing Alligator Alley!

Alrighty! It is pattern introduction time! We had six new patterns this Spring - they have been on sale since mid May, but this will kick off the proper introductions!
Andover Mini Quilts

Andover Mini Quilts

You all know that we have caught the mini quilt fever that has been going around for the last few years! These minis are almost a year old - I am working on this timely blogging thing still! But, hey, better late then never. Andover sent us a cultivated bundle of beautiful warm Alison Glass and Lizzy House fabrics. We then created these two minis!

8 Last Minute Handmade Christmas Gift Ideas

Happy December! With only 25 days until Christmas, we decided to put together a list of projects you can definitely finish in time to give as gifts this year.
Holiday Arcadia Avenue Table Toppers

Holiday Arcadia Avenue Table Toppers

We hope everyone had a fun (and food!) filled Thanksgiving celebration! Now, it is officially time to start decking the halls with holiday cheer and handmade decorations. We keep seeing individual Arcadia Avenue blocks pop up in Instagram for various mini quilt exchanges and we can't get enough.
Paradox Point in Kaffe Fassett

Paradox Point in Kaffe Fassett

And last but not least, here is the show-stopping version Kristy made in Kaffe Fassett fabrics! One of our favorite things to do with patterns is see how they play with different styles. I think Paradox Point looks great in just about everything! We have 4 very different versions - one rainbow with solids, one featuring a fabric line, one cool colored batik quilt and this warm one with lots of large prints! Each has it's own flare and beauty.
Paradox Point in Desert Bloom

The next version of Paradox Point we are sharing is this beauty made by Juli Kieny. It is a complete 180 from the cover quilt and I love that! Instead of creating a rainbow or gradating the fabrics in color order, Juli paired two contrasting fabrics from one fabric line for each arrow block. The contrasting blocks plus the dark background makes this quilt a total slam dunk!
Introducing Paradox Point!

Introducing Paradox Point!

Okay, so most of you have already seen this quilt a few times, either on Instagram or in our Quilt Market recap post! But we thought we could have a few posts on Paradox Point this week to answer some questions about the pattern and share some details about each quilt. We have four different versions to share with you, and today we are kicking it all off with this gorgeous cover quilt!
Introducing Quadrant Court!

Introducing Quadrant Court!

Today I am introducing a new paper-pieced quilt pattern - Quadrant Court! This fun and fast pattern uses three fabrics to create a visually intriguing quilt. Each block contains three sewing lines, so this quilt flies together! The pattern includes full size foundations, three pattern sizes and complete paper-piecing instructions. This is a great pattern for paper-piecing beginners and experts alike!
Introducing Privet Drive!

Introducing Privet Drive!

Happy Monday! Today I am writing to you from a little coffee shop in Midtown Manhattan! I am on a trip with my best friend and we are having a blast, and getting some work done. This week, we are going to continue introducing our new(ish) patterns and next up on the docket is our Privet Drive!
Introducing Hootsville Row!

Introducing Hootsville Row!

Hootsville Row originated as a 12" block I designed a few years ago for one of Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazines. Hootie, as I called him, was one single owl perched on a branch with a golden full moon behind him. I decided to design a quilt around Hootie and create a whole family of owls. I love how Hootsville Row turned out!
