Main Street Sew and Tell
One of the lucky aspects of my Mom being a longarm quilter is we get to see some Sassafras Lane quilts come in finished! This beauty was made by Karen Morgan using our Main Street Quilt Pattern and some very colorful batiks.
My Mom (aka Wolf Creek Quilting) finished quilting this quilt yesterday. Since the sun came out today (two days in a row =] ) she decided it was the perfect time to take some photos.
Look how vibrant those colors are. I didn't even adjust anything in photoshop! Here is a nice closeup of the quilting. Kristy quilted spirals in the centers of the blocks and filled in the rest with a feather meander, using variegated thread.
We love seeing our patterns taken in a new direction! If you make this pattern or any other of our Sassafras Lane Designs patterns, we would love to feature you and the quilt on here! Just shoot us an email! The Main Street quilt pattern is available here in PDF and paper form! Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Just beautiful. Love the way the colors pop against the black.
