Finally Sewing. July 29 2013, 3 Comments

I have been putting my little machine to work the last few days! I finished one entire large quilt top over the weekend. It is going to be a color option in Quiltmaker Nov/Dec '13. It is a "mostly" orange quilt and I love it! The one downfall to sewing for Quiltmaker is: I can't show you the quilt =/ In a few months I will do a whole post on it. But for now, here is a pretty in-progress photo to show some of the colors. I used Tangier Khat, a new line from FreeSpirit Fabrics.

I was also able to make one of these blocks. It is a 9" paper-pieced block I designed. It was a quick fun project =] (also orange!!)

This is also the last week of the Plum and June's Let's Get Acquainted New Blogger Blog Hop. It has been great getting to know all these new amazing bloggers! Be sure to check out the last (but definitely not least!) bloggers on this hop. Thanks for stopping by!
