Magazine Features November 21 2013, 1 Comment
I am back!! I had an amazing time in Argentina and will definitely do a blog post or two when I get the photos all downloaded. I am happy to be home and back to work. I came home to a pile of magazines we are featured in and some slobbery puppy kisses! Is there a better welcome home present?
The top magazine is a special issue from Quilter's Newsletter. Creative Spaces is all about how to organize and keep inspiration alive in your sewing room! When Bill Gardner, Editor-in-Chief of Quilter's Newsletter, told us our studio is on the cover, we did a little happy dance at Market. Our Orange Studio is featured in a 3-page spread and highlights how we stay organized and run two creative businesses out of a basement! I hope someone finds our space as inspiring as we do =]
I finally got to sit down and go through all 100 awesome blocks in Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, Volume 8. (Winners are being emailed today =] ) Here are our two blocks!
And last, but not least, our latest pattern Prism Parkway is in the Quiltmaker Jan/Feb '14 issue! The issue is all about color and features our bright paper-pieced pattern of cascading color. There is also a neat article featuring the pattern in lots of different color-ways by Electric Quilt. This quilt was made in gorgeous Tonga Batiks from Timeless Treasures.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check back for photos from our Mystery Class we are teaching this weekend, my trip to Argentina, current projects and more!
