Blogger's Quilt Festival: ROYGBIV Entry

This year you can enter two quilts in the Blogger's Quilt Festival! My second entry is an oldie but goody: Atlantic Avenue!  It was hard to narrow it done to one category for each quilt. Both of them are scrappy and rainbow. =] We must have a style. This one will be in the ROYGBIV category

This was another quilt we dug into our scrap buckets for! It was fun to play with all the different tones and shades of color to see what played well together and what did not. There are also some fussy cut black and white dogs pieced in there for some fun.

Quilt Stats:

  • Finished size: 80" x 80"
  • Fabrics: Scrappy Mayhem on a Kona Solid White background
  • Black and White striped binding (a favorite of mine)
  • Pieced by my mom and I
  • Quilted by Kristy Wolf (my mom!)
  • Blogger's Festival Category: ROYGBIV
Be sure to check out our Lombard Street quilt in the Scrap Quilt category!

Love the colors with balck & white, love that it’s scrappy, love that it’s a giant Swoon and star in star block and pieced all in squares no yet! You and your Mom went all out on this one! Love what you did with this!
