Introducing the Cooper Carry-All Bag!

The Cooper Carry-All Bag is a quick and fun bag pattern that is perfect for any artist, student or crafter! It holds all your crafting supplies and books in inside, front and back pockets. Pack up all your books, fabrics, paints, scissors, markers and rulers and head off to that retreat or class! Here are a few features of the Cooper Carry-All:

    • Quick, quick, quick! You can make this in a day.
    • Scrap-friendly! Most of the pieces are small enough to pull right from your personal fabric collection.
    • Versatile. Great for day-to-day!
    • Easy Magnetic Snap installation. Tutorial here.
    • Stitch and Flip technique! All those fun scraps give the bag the some personality!
    • Handle fits right under your arm! Nice and comfy!
We have made a few of these! The first one is made up of lime, green, teal and blue strips on a charcoal bag with a lime accent/lining. It was fun to dig through all of of scrap buckets and find different widths of strips to fill the front and back of the bag! Here it is:
This is my adorable little sister modeling for us!
She gets a little giggly! It is a family trait!
Nice close-up on the bag. We used a variety of fabric strips with lots of fun prints!
We made a second bag (Of course!). This time we went completely opposite: warm colors on a canvas bag with a magenta accent. We pulled some yellow, oranges, pinks, reds and purples and mixed them all up. More fun scrap buckets to go through. Sometime we will show you how we organize our fabric scraps. Here is the second bag:
We are pretty darn fond of the radish fabric!
