Bugsy's Lexington Lane Quilt

We made this bed size Lexington Lane quilt over a year ago and failed to get any good photos! My little sister quickly claimed this one for her college bed and away it went. We all got together in Spokane this last week and I asked her to bring it to shoot a few photos. This is the Venti size quilt. We used 27 fat-quarters mostly from the Mod-Century fabric line designed by Jenn Ski for Moda.

Here is my little sister, nicknamed Bugsy, showing off her quilt. We waited until the last day of our trip to take photos, and of course it snowed all day! We found these neat steps near my grandma's house that had some tree cover and snapped a few photos.

It was a bit chilly! So we wrapped ourselves up on the walk back to the heated house! My Mom quilted this one with an allover modern square meander in a lime green thread. I love this quilt and I love how quickly it goes together! This is a very well-loved and used quilt, as quilts should be!

If you make this pattern or any other of our Sassafras Lane Designs patterns, we would love to feature the quilt on here! Just shoot us an email! The Lexington Lane quilt pattern is available here in PDF and paper form! Thanks for stopping by and have great week!

How wonderfully bright and cheerful on a cold snowy day! Very pretty.
