Free 'Pieces of My Heart Quilt' Pattern

It is officially February and even though I am not a big Valentines Day girl, I had an idea for a simple heart pattern. It is a quick project and adds a little love to any decor. 

I used assorted Art Gallery Fabrics I had leftover from a new pattern (I can't wait to show you it!!). There are pinks, oranges and corals prints and florals on a solid magenta background. 

I discovered a quilt store near by me, Eddie's Quilting Bee, and found the perfect thread to quilt this heart: Aurifil #2530. I echoed the heart shape with straight lines and quilted a simple grid inside the heart.
